Third DARE to Lead Change Intercommunity Interest Forum

Bryson Intercultural and TIDES Training & Consultancy were delighted to organise the third DARE to Lead Change Intercommunity Interest Forum.  The forum was held on 17th August 2018 at Strabane Community Library and acted as Part II of dialogue around the culture of work, which began at our DARE Women's Cafe Culture event earlier in the summer.

The day’s agenda provided input from the perspectives of employers, potential employees and cross border communities, after which there was an opportunity to speak about our next steps. Over 35 people from a range of 15 organisations and communities attended the Forum.  The participants included representatives from Action Mental Health, Asylum Seeker and Refugee Community including representatives from Sudan, Bryson Charitable Group, Bryson Energy, Donegal Intercultural Platform, Derry City & Strabane District Council, Extern, NI Community Relations Council, The Playhouse Derry/Londonderry, PSNI, Shankill Women’s Centre, TIDES training & consultancy, The Vine Centre and Western Health and Social Care Trust.

DARE to Lead Change Project is led by Bryson Intercultural, in partnership with TIDES.  This project is funded by the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
