Bryson Opens New HQ at Rivers Edge

After more than 75 years on Bedford Street, Bryson Charitable Group has completed its move to a new state-of-the-art facility on Ravenhill Road, Belfast.

The building, which previously housed LaganSports, Energy and Domiciliary Care, has been redeveloped into Bryson's new administration office and service centre, bringing together more staff and services under the one roof.

Our former headquarters on Bedford Street, a listed former linen warehouse which has been under Bryson's ownership since 1944, has now been sold.

Relocating to our new HQ on Ravenhill Road is part of Bryson's ongoing growth strategy. In the past year alone, we've recruited more than 200 staff, and continue to expand our services – particularly Bryson Recycling and Domiciliary Care – to cope with the increased demand brought on by the Coronavirus pandemic.

Part of this recruitment has involved 30 staff members being assigned to administer The Bryson Fund, our emergency response to COVID-19.

Since 1st April, Bryson has delivered £250,000 of support to those most severely affected by the pandemic. 4,876 people (2,548 adults; 2,328 children and young people) have now received emergency support in the form of home heating and electricity, along with food, essential items, white goods, and emotional support. We have worked closely with community groups throughout the pandemic to identify those in greatest need across Northern Ireland.

Our mission is to be a leader in the delivery of sustainable responses to existing and emerging social needs. Rivers Edge simply marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of Bryson Charitable Group.
