Bryson Energy - 21 Years of Impartial Energy Advice

Northern Ireland’s energy agency, Bryson Energy recently celebrated 21 years in existence. As part of the Bryson Charitable Group, Bryson Energy is a registered charity operating on the social enterprise model and has been providing, independent, impartial energy advice and energy-related services to the domestic market throughout Northern Ireland since 1995.

With many accreditations and awards already acquired, striving to continually improve accessibility and achieve excellence is the Bryson Energy philosophy. In line with this ethos, Bryson Energy recently launched their new and improved website featuring a user-friendly platform, to showcase services and chart the Bryson Energy story down the years.

Funded from a range of sources including a long partnerhip withthe Northern Ireland Housing Executive, award-winning Bryson Energy is the EU National Energy Agency for Northern Ireland and is one of the oldest and most successful agencies in a European network of over 400.

With the aim of empowering people to change the way they think and act about energy and sustainability, Bryson Energy continues to implement strategies, programmes and measures to combat climate change.  It’s work reflects local conditions and encourages action to address fuel poverty through a Whole House Solution approach.

A fully resourced contact centre, based in Enniskillen fields telephone calls from across Northern Ireland on many energy-related issues including energy advice; energy efficiency in the home; fuel budgeting and domestic energy grants. With over 20 staff working out of offices in Belfast, Derry and Enniskillen,  a range of programmes and services are delivered.  These help householders make their homes more energy efficient, access appropriate grants and benefits and reduce their energy costs.  All leading to warmer, more comfortable homes with reduced environmental impact
