Job Title: Emergency Relief Initiative: Processing Coordinator


Office Based Location: Belfast

Accountable to: Regional Emergency Relief Project Lead

Main Purpose

To lead and drive the work of a dedicated team in the delivery of direct cost of living support (Energy, Food and/or Home Essentials) to those in urgent need.


Key Responsibilities

  • To assist in the induction and training of project staff.
  • To allocate daily tasks necessary to deliver support to those in need.
  • To oversee the efficient processing of the support.
  • To liaise with identified partners on a regular basis to assist and or resolve issues, escalate to line manager where appropriate.
  • Communicate with those benefitting from the support.
  • Prepare weekly reports required by line manager.
  • Track and reconcile invoices and receipts daily/weekly.
  • At periods of high pressure assist with processing of applications.

Length of contract:               Fixed term to 19th April 2024 (with possibility of extension)

Salary:                                   £14.50 per hour

Hours of work:                      35 hours per week

Holidays:                                20 days pro rata

12 statutory days pro rata

Probationary Period:            1 month

Notice:                                    2 weeks
