Health Project Development Co-ordinator

35 hours per week

Fixed Term until 31st March 2019

£21,840 per annum

Belfast

 

Job Purpose:

To lead a small team and contribute to work with Travellers and Health sector professionals to implement and develop effective heath strategies that improve outcomes within the Traveller Community.

Essential Criteria:

  • Good general level of education, including Grade C or above at GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • A further education qualification in a relevant area such as community development or health services
  • A minimum of two year’s experience in Community Development and/or health sector
  • Previous experience of managing resources
  • Reasonable standard of computer literacy
  • Insight into the needs of marginalised people, in particular the Traveller community
  • Excellent self organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work flexibly on own initiative and as part of a team as required
  • Good communications skills – verbal, written and listening
  • A full driving licence (valid in Northern Ireland) and access to appropriate own transport for work purposed
