Domiciliary Care Workers – Respite/Sitting Duties

Variable contracted hours available, Monday to Sunday

£8.00 per hour Monday to Sunday plus mileage

Job Purpose:

To provide assistance and support with personal care and practical tasks as well as emotional support to enable Service Users to remain at home for as long as possible.


Essential Criteria:

  • Paid / unpaid experience in a caring role
  • GCSE (or equivalent) standard of education to include Maths and English
  • Relevant qualification e.g. NVQ/QCF  Level 2 or above in Care (or equivalent)
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • A full current driving licence and access to a car is also essential. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.
